This trio has released yet another collection of great jazz standards. Simply titled, Standards takes some old familiar
music and turns it into something new. These songs are easily recognizable, staying true to the melodies that made them great
in the first place.
Standards has resurrected these songs and given them new bounce and vitality. the bass, piano, and drums work together
as a machine to turn out a sound that at first strikes your senses, then holds on tight, taking you on a musical journey that
doesn't want to end. This release promises to be one of the favorites of anyone who loves these great old tunes.
I was certainly not disappointed by the performances given by these three wonderfully talented musicians and the unparalleled
sound quality of the recordings only adds to the sensory pleasure.
I will dare to say this is a must have to your jazz collection.
